Pre-Care Instructions
Preparing for Lip Blush PMU
Candidate: not pregnant or nursing (at least 6 weeks post-nursing), no Botox or lip filler in the area for 4 weeks prior, 18 years or older, no blood thinners 48 hours prior (including coffee and alcohol).
- Exfoliate your lips in a gentle circular motions starting one week prior — dead skin fully removed at least 48 hours before your appointment
- Moisturize your lips a week to two weeks before (Aquaphor is recommended)
- If you have ever had a cold sore, an antiviral medication is required to reduce flare-up risk — start 3–4 days prior and continue through healing. Use Valtrex (prescribed by your doctor/dentist to last for 10 days). If the prescription cannot be prescribed, Lysine and Arnica can be taken over the counter to help decrease (not treat), the chances of cold sore flare ups.⚠️ (Without taking this precaution, the treatment area can result in a very bad intense flare up of cold sores)
- Bring your everyday lip color or reference photos of the color you'd like to achieve
HOW TO USE MEDICINE FOR COLD SORES:
⁃ 3-4 Days Before Procedure: Take 500mg. (1 dose) ONCE a day
⁃ Day of Procedure: Take 1000mg. (Double dose)
⁃ Day After + Onward: Take 500mg. (1 dose) ONCE a day for NEXT 6 DAYS
⁃ Please start using Aquaphor on your lips 👄 to keep them moist at least 3-4 DAYS (preferably a week to two weeks) before your procedure
⁃ Please follow all of the above pre-care steps for your lip blushing service
Preparing for Eyebrows PMU
IMPORTANT NOTES:
Avoid booking on your menstrual cycle if possible as it can increase your pain. The brows/lips must be free of all irritations including eczema, pimples, bruises, open wound, psoriasis, etc.
Reschedule if you're sick with a cold, flu or viral/bacterial infection.
To achieve the best results, it is essential that you understand and follow the pre-care instructions. This process can take up to 4 weeks.
4 Weeks Prior
• Botox & Fillers must be done at least 4 weeks before or after your appointment.
• Discontinue Glycolics, Retin-A or Retinol products 4 weeks prior to your appointment.
• No Anti-aging and/or Anti-acne products
• No Surgery of any kind.
1-2 Weeks Prior
• Avoid sun and tanning bed 1-2 weeks prior to appointment
• No facial or chemical peels 2 weeks prior to appointment.
• Avoid waxing or tinting 1 week prior to appointment.
• Exfoliate the area to prep your skin for the procedure.
48-72 Hours Prior
• Avoid blood thinners such as Ibuprofen, aspirin, Aleve, NSAIDS, vitamin E, fish oil or vitamins unless medically necessary 48-72 hrs prior to your appointment.
• Avoid smoking any substances for 48hrs prior to your appointment.
24 Hours Prior
• Avoid working out 24hrs prior to your appointment.
• Avoid ALCOHOL or CAFFEINE 24hrs prior to your appointment. This will prevent any excess bleeding, oozing and minimizes swelling during the procedure.
On the day of your appointment

Feel free to come to your appointment wearing your makeup if you choose to provide an idea of your desired color and shape. I provide thorough mapping and measurements to create the perfect brow shape for your face.
Preparing for Eyelash Enhancement
- Avoid Glycolics, Retin-A or Retinol products 4 weeks prior to your appointment.
- Avoid have Botox 4 weeks prior to your appointment (can symmetry).
- Avoid drink alcohol, coffee, teas 24 - 48 hours prior to your appointment.
- Avoid Perm or Tint your lashes 1 week prior to your appointment.
- Ensure lash extensions have been removed completely.
- Avoid tanning 2 weeks prior or have sunburned face.
- Avoid facial/peel 2 weeks prior to your appointment.
- Avoid work out the day of the procedure (excessive oils in the skin can prevent the pigment from retaining).
- Try to get a good night sleep before your treatment.
- Hydrate with water.
